Beautiful Chaotic Day

Crazy Sun Day

Sometimes these days just happen, whether they were intended or not. The days when the weather is perfect, the sun is out, and everything else around you is in chaos. Today was that day and as I sit here typing this post I couldn't be more satisfied and content. Although work was insanely busy for the first couple of hours and my boss was in one of those moods, it was still a good day.

I have not experienced weather like this in January before! As I type this is the 11th of January and the average temp was 69 F'! My boss has a habit of talking down to their employees, usually when it isn't deserved at all. That is what happened today and I was infuriated! I couldn't hold any resentment’s for long because of how nice it was outside. I was told once by someone I look up to that my job is to make my manager look good, that is what I do whether I like it or not because its the right thing. Although most of the time I am usually right (can't say this for other jobs, but for this specific one I'm not being arrogant), I still bite the bullet and do whatever task it is they need completed. There has been an issue that has been going back and forth in my head recently. The question is this: If my manager needs me to do something and in order for me to make them look better it requires me to do the task their way so they think I did it to their satisfaction, and then when they weren’t paying attention completely change it for their benefit? Is that still the right thing? Should I do what they say knowing it will look bad and give them a bad rap, even though they want me too? I am not sure what I would do and I know that situation will appear one of these days. What do you guys think?
